Assumption of Risk

I understand that visiting a working farm involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

Uneven terrain, mud, gravel, rocks, holes, fences, gates, and other natural hazards.
Interaction with miniature donkeys and other farm animals.
Animal behavior that may be unpredictable, including nipping, biting, kicking, stepping on feet, pushing, scratching, or other actions that could result in injury.
Weather conditions, insects, plants, and other outdoor environmental risks.

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with visiting Sweet Mini J's Farm and participating in any farm activities.

Release of Liability

I hereby release, waive, and discharge Sweet Mini J's Farm, its owners, employees, volunteers, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, liabilities, or injuries arising from or related to my visit to the farm, including those resulting from interaction with animals, use of farm facilities, or conditions on the property.

I understand that Sweet Mini J's Farm is not responsible for personal injury, illness, property damage, loss, or theft occurring during my visit.

Minor Children

I acknowledge that I am responsible for supervising any minor children accompanying me and ensuring they follow all farm rules and staff instructions at all times. I assume all risks on behalf of any minor children in my care.

Farm Rules

I agree to:

  • Follow all instructions provided by farm staff.

  • Treat all animals respectfully and humanely.

  • Not chase, tease, frighten, or mistreat any animal.

  • Keep children under direct supervision at all times.

  • Remain in designated visitor areas unless otherwise instructed.

  • Wear appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes during the visit.

  • Understand that any unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior may result in the immediate termination of the visit without refund.

Booking & Cancellation Policy

All farm visit reservations are non-refundable once booked.

By reserving a farm visit, I understand that my payment secures a specific date and time that is no longer available to other guests. No refunds will be issued for cancellations, no-shows, late arrivals, early departures, weather concerns, or changes in personal plans.

Weather Policy

Farm visits take place outdoors and may proceed in light rain or normal weather conditions.

For the safety of guests, staff, and animals, Sweet Mini J's Farm reserves the right to postpone or reschedule visits due to severe weather, including but not limited to thunderstorms, lightning, flooding, high winds, excessive heat, ice, snow, or other hazardous conditions. In such cases, guests will be offered a rescheduled date.

Communication

Following your booking, Sweet Mini J's Farm will contact you via text message with the farm address, arrival instructions, parking information, and any additional details needed for your visit.

Photography Release

I grant Sweet Mini J's Farm permission to use photographs and videos taken during my visit for promotional, advertising, website, and social media purposes unless I notify farm staff in writing before the start of my visit.

Agreement

I certify that I have read, understand, and voluntarily agree to the terms of this Visitor Agreement, Release of Liability, and Booking Policy.
